Founded in 2019
Hustle & Grind Interior Design was born from a straightforward belief: every space has untapped potential, and the right design can unlock it. Founded in 2019 by Jessica Harley Hayes, what began as a one-woman residential design practice in Madison, Mississippi, has grown into a full-service interior design consultancy and wholesale furnishing procurement firm serving clients across the state.
Jessica's early projects were residential renovations for friends and neighbors in the Madison area. Word spread quickly. Within two years, the firm had expanded into commercial design for law offices, medical practices, and hospitality venues throughout the Jackson metropolitan area.
Today, Hustle & Grind operates a dual business model that sets us apart. Our design studio handles concept-through-installation interior design, while our wholesale procurement division sources furniture, fixtures, and equipment at trade pricing for designers, developers, and property managers who value quality and competitive pricing.

Meet the Founder
Jessica brings over fifteen years of experience in interior design, space planning, and furnishing procurement. Her career spans residential estates, corporate headquarters, boutique hotels, and award-winning restaurants across the Southeast.
With a keen eye for balancing Southern elegance with modern sophistication, Jessica has built a reputation for delivering spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. Her trade relationships with over fifty manufacturers and artisan studios worldwide allow her to source unique, high-quality pieces that are not available through retail channels.
Jessica is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers and actively mentors emerging designers in the Mississippi design community. When she is not working on client projects, you will find her scouting antique markets, visiting manufacturer showrooms, and staying ahead of international design trends.

Milestones
Jessica Harley Hayes establishes Hustle & Grind Interior Design LLC, taking on her first residential projects in the Madison and Ridgeland communities.
Completes our first major commercial engagement, redesigning a Jackson law firm's offices. The project generates five new client referrals within three months.
Opens our wholesale furnishing procurement division, establishing direct trade accounts with over twenty manufacturers and becoming a licensed merchant wholesaler.
Lands first hotel project with The Alluvian in Greenwood. Expands trade partner network to over fifty vendors. Team grows to support increasing demand.
Passes the 200-project milestone. Recognized as one of Mississippi's leading design firms. Continues to expand commercial and hospitality services statewide.
